Anantnag Police Intensifies Action Against Drug Traffickers

Anantnag, Jun 4 (JKNS): Continuing its sustained crackdown against drug trafficking and narco-financed assets, Anantnag Police has attached a single-storey residential house belonging to accused Mohd Yousuf Hajam S/O Ghulam Mohammad Hajam R/O Panchalthan Chatergul under the provisions of Section 68(F) of the NDPS Act.

The attached property has been identified as illegally acquired property linked to proceeds generated through narcotic drug trafficking. The action has been taken in connection with Case FIR No. 42/2026 registered under Section 8/20 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Utrasoo, in which the accused is involved.

The attachment has been carried out in accordance with the provisions of the NDPS Act as part of the ongoing efforts to dismantle the financial infrastructure supporting drug trafficking and to deter individuals involved in the narcotics trade.

Anantnag Police remains committed to taking stringent action against drug peddlers and all those involved in the illegal narcotics network, while appealing to the public to continue supporting the fight against the drug menace by sharing credible information with the police. (JKNS)
