Ramban, Jun 3 (JKNS): A driver lost his life after a Maruti Suzuki Eeco vehicle met with an accident on the hilly stretch of Shagun Road near Badarkote Nallah in Ramsoo area of Ramban district on Wednesday, officials said.
Officials told news agency JKNS that a Maruti Suzuki Eeco bearing registration number JK19A-5276 met with an accident near Badarkote Nallah, falling within the jurisdiction of Police Station Ramsoo.
In the incident, the driver of the vehicle, identified as Wasim Ahmad, son of Mohammad Qasim and a resident of Higni Ramsoo, died on the spot, they said.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated necessary legal proceedings. (JKNS)
