The delegation expressed deep concern and strongly condemned the incident, demanding strict and exemplary punishment for the accused so that such crimes are never repeated in Kashmir.

The leaders stated that the safety and dignity of women and young girls must remain a top priority and that justice must be delivered swiftly to restore public confidence and ensure that families feel secure.

The delegation appreciated the prompt action taken by the Jammu and Kashmir Police for swiftly arresting the accused and urged the administration to ensure the harshest possible punishment under the law.

The leaders emphasized that incidents of this nature create fear among families and young girls, and therefore strong action is necessary to deter such crimes in the future.

The BJP delegation also congratulated the Lieutenant Governor for his inspiring and people-centric Drug Free Jammu & Kashmir campaign, which has received widespread public support across the Union Territory.

The delegation appreciated the continuous efforts being made to protect the youth from the menace of drugs and to build a healthier and safer society. (JKNA)
