Doda, May 26 (JKNS): Several persons, including minors, were injured after a Matador vehicle overturned on the National Highway near Shiv Pull area of Prem Nagar in Thathri tehsil of Doda district on Tuesday.

Officials told news agency JKNS that the accident took place when a Matador bearing registration number JK06A-0343, travelling from Chiralla towards Thathri, lost control and overturned on the highway.

They said around five to six persons sustained injuries in the accident and were immediately shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Doda for treatment.

Officials added that the condition of the injured persons is being monitored while the situation in the area remains normal.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and further details are awaited. (JKNS)
