Srinagar, May 26 (JKNS): Senior BJP leader and party spokesperson Altaf Thakur has extended warm greetings to the people of Jammu & Kashmir and the entire country on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.

In his message, Thakur said that Eid-ul-Adha symbolizes the spirit of sacrifice, compassion, brotherhood and devotion to Almighty Allah.

 

He urged people to celebrate the festival with religious fervour while remembering the values of humanity, kindness and social harmony.

 

He said the festival teaches people the importance of selflessness, sharing and helping the needy, adding that such occasions strengthen the bonds of unity and mutual respect among different communities.

 

Thakur appealed to people to remember the underprivileged and extend support to deserving families during the celebrations.

 

The BJP leader prayed for lasting peace, progress and prosperity in Jammu & Kashmir and wished that the occasion brings happiness and blessings to every household.

 

He also hoped that Eid would further strengthen communal harmony and brotherhood across the nation.

 

Thakur urged people to celebrate the festival responsibly and maintain the true spirit of Eid by spreading love, tolerance and goodwill.

 

He conveyed his best wishes to the Muslim Ummah and prayed for peace and stability in the region and the country. (JKNS)
