Kathua, May 22 (JKNS): A man was found dead under mysterious circumstances near Shellar Morh along the Express Highway in Nagri area of Kathua district on Friday morning, officials said.
Officials told news agency JKNS that at in the morning, locals spotted a male body lying in an unconscious condition beneath the flyover near Shellar Morh and immediately alerted Nagri Police.
A police team rushed to the spot and shifted the body for medico-legal formalities. The identity of the deceased was not immediately ascertained.
Police have initiated inquest proceedings and further investigation into the incident is underway. (JKNS)
