Bhaderwah, May 20 (JKNS): An unidentified teenage boy was found hanging near the fish pond area of Bhaderwah in Doda district on Wednesday evening, officials said.
Official sources told news agency JKNS that the body of the boy, believed to be around 16 years old, was spotted hanging from a tree near the fish pond area in Tehsil Bhaderwah in the evening hours.
Soon after receiving information about the incident, police teams along with local residents rushed to the spot and brought down the body.
The deceased’s identity could not be established immediately, officials said, adding that the body has been taken into custody for medico-legal formalities and identification.
Meanwhile, police have initiated proceedings into the matter and further investigation is underway. (JKNS)
