After completion of the required legal formalities, the competent court passed orders for disposal of the seized conveyances through auction in accordance with the provisions of law.

Officials said the action is part of Sopore Police’s broader strategy to dismantle the narcotics network by targeting not only drug peddlers but also the financial and logistical infrastructure supporting drug trafficking activities.

Sopore Police reiterated its commitment to continue strict action against narcotics networks and stated that all assets and conveyances used in drug-related offences would be dealt with as per law.

Police also reaffirmed their resolve towards achieving the objectives of the Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyaan and building a safer and drug-free society. (JKNS)
