Srinagar, May 17 (JKNS): A non-local man was found dead in Nishat area of Srinagar on Sunday, officials said.
An official told news agency JKNS, that the deceased has been identified as Malkeet Singh, a resident of Amritsar, Punjab, presently residing in Nishat area of Srinagar.
He was around 25 years old and was working as a carpenter in the Valley, official said.
Officials said the man was shifted to SMHS Hospital in an unconscious condition, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Further investigation has been taken up by police. (JKNS)
