Srinagar, May 16 (JKNS): Jammu and Kashmir Minister Sakina Itoo has reacted sharply to the BJP protests over liquor sales in Kashmir, stating that the National Conference has always opposed anything harmful to society, including liquor and drugs.

Speaking to media persons on Friday, as per news agency JKNS, Sakina Itoo said, “BJP leaders are only creating drama. During their tenure, liquor was openly available everywhere, whereas our government has always opposed it.”

She said the National Conference, from the time of Sher-i-Kashmir Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah till date, has consistently stood against anything that harms the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
