Anantnag Police Seizes 08 Vehicles Linked to Drug Trade, Intensifies Financial Crackdown on Narcotics Network

Anantnag, May 14 (JKNS): Continuing its sustained and uncompromising action against narcotics trafficking and the illegal assets generated through drug-related activities, Anantnag Police has attached 08 vehicles under the provisions of Section 68-E of the NDPS Act in a significant action aimed at dismantling the financial infrastructure of drug peddlers.

The attached vehicles include 02 Magic vehicles, 01 passenger auto-rickshaw, 01 WagonR, 01 Bolero, and 03 motorcycles, which were identified during investigation as assets acquired or utilized in connection with illicit narcotics activities. The total market valuation of the attached property is estimated at approximately ₹20 lakh.
