The organisers said the programme will include a specially curated heritage tour across various spiritual, cultural and historical sites associated with Kashmiri Pandit civilisation in Kashmir.

Delegates from India, the United States, Europe, West Asia and several other countries are expected to participate in what is being described as one of the largest international gatherings focused on Kashmiri Pandit heritage and cultural legacy, details stated.

The conclave will feature round-table discussions, intellectual sessions, cultural programmes, youth interactions, heritage preservation panels and deliberations on issues related to cultural renaissance, heritage conservation, social cohesion and the future roadmap of the Kashmiri Pandit community.

Seven major community organisations, including Global Kashmiri Pandit Diaspora (GKPD), Jammu & Kashmir Vichar Manch, Youth All India Kashmiri Samaj, Kashmiri Pandit Association Mumbai and Kashmiri Overseas Association USA, along with support from over 30 organisations across India and abroad, are jointly organising the event, JKNS learnt.

The organisers have also extended invitations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, besides civil society members, scholars and representatives from different communities for broader participation and dialogue.

However, it was not known immediately whether who will be officially attending the function from the union government. (JKNS)
