Poonch, May 10 (JKNS): An elderly man died after accidentally falling in a forest area of Sawjian in Poonch district on Sunday evening, officials said.
Officials told news agency JKNS that the deceased has been identified as Sultan Mohammad, aged around 65 years, son of Wazir Mohammad, a resident of Chapprin Sawjian.
He had gone to the forest for cutting wood when he accidentally slipped and fell, resulting in his death on the spot, officials said.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident, while further details are awaited. (JKNS)
