Srinagar, May 06 (JKNS): A 55-year-old man was found dead at his residence in the Nowhatta area of Srinagar on Wednesday, officials said.
Official sources told news agency JKNS, the deceased has been identified as, a resident of Sheikh Colony, Kani Dewar, aged around 55 years.
Soon after the incident, a police team from Nowhatta reached the spot and initiated necessary proceedings.
Sources said that the deceased was found hanging at his home.
Police has taken cognizance of the matter and further investigation initiated. (JKNS)
