2 Dead, 2 Still Missing at Mughal Road after Vehicle Plunges into Nallah

Poonch, May 5 (JKNS): Two persons lost their lives while two others remain untraced after a vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident and fell into a nallah near Chhattapani along the Mughal Road, officials said on Tuesday.

A police official told news agency JKNS that four individuals had gone missing during travel on the Mughal Road, prompting District Police Poonch to initiate a search and rescue operation.

During the search, the vehicle was located in a nallah at Chhattapani. Two bodies were retrieved from the site, while efforts are continuing to trace the remaining missing persons, official said.

 

The official said that the identities of the deceased are being established and further investigation into the incident is in progress. (JKNS)
