Govt Issues May Roster for Administrative Secretaries, Ministers at Jammu Secretariat

Weekly schedule fixed from May 4–29; Deputy CM, key ministers, and senior IAS officers to remain available at Civil Secretariat Jammu

Srinagar, May 4 (JKNS): The General Administration Department has issued separate rosters for Administrative Secretaries and Hon’ble Ministers for the month of May 2026 at Civil Secretariat Jammu.

As per news agency JKNS, the roster of Administrative Secretaries has been issued vide Government Order No. 859-JK(GAD) of 2026 dated May 03, 2026, detailing the availability of senior IAS officers in a phased manner throughout the month.

According to the order, Ashwani Kumar (IAS), Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Power Development Department; Mohammad Aijaz (IAS), Secretary, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department; and Shaleen Kabra (IAS), Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Jal Shakti Department, will remain available from May 4 to May 8.

Dr. Piyush Singla (IAS), Secretary, Information Technology Department; Dr. Ashish Chandra Verma (IAS), Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Tourism Department; and Naveen S L (IAS), Secretary, Civil Aviation Department, will be available from May 11 to May 15.

Shailendra Kumar (IAS), Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Finance Department, will be available from May 18 to May 22, while Kumar Rajeev Ranjan (IAS), Administrative Secretary, Labour and Employment Department, will remain available from May 25 to May 29, 2026.

Meanwhile, in the separate roster issued by GAD of Hon’ble Ministers has been issued vide Government Order No. 860-JK(GAD) of 2026 dated May 04, 2026, specifying their scheduled presence at the Civil Secretariat Jammu.

As per the schedule, Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Kumar Choudhary will remain available from May 4 to May 8, followed by Minister Sakeena Masood (Itoo), holding portfolios of Health & Medical Education, School Education, Higher Education and Social Welfare, from May 11 to May 15.

Advisor to the Chief Minister Nasir Aslam Wani will be available from May 18 to May 22, while Minister Javid Ahmad Dar, in charge of Agriculture Production, Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, Cooperative and Election Departments, will remain available from May 25 to May 29.

Both the orders have been issued by Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, M. Raju (IAS), to ensure smooth administrative functioning and coordination at Civil Secretariat Jammu during the specified period. (JKNS)
