Srinagar, May 4 (JKNS): A CRPF jawan lost his life after sustaining a bullet injury inside a camp in Tral area of south Kashmir, officials said on Monday.
Official sources told news agency JKNS that the injured jawan to SMHS Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.
The deceased has been identified as Constable, aged around 40 years, of 180 Battalion CRPF, presently posted at Tral camp.
Sources said the incident occurred inside the camp where he committed suicide after shooting hinself, while further investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident has been taken up. (JKNS)
