Srinagar Police Cracks Down Medical Shops; Seals Medical Shop at SK Bagh In Non-compliance of Valid License

Srinagar, May 2 (JKNS): In continuation of its drive under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan, Srinagar Police, in coordination with the Drug Control Department, conducted inspections of medical shops in the SK Bagh area.

As per news agency JKNS, During the inspection, carried out in the presence of the Drug Inspector Budgam, a medical shop operating under the name Rafeeqi Medicate was found functioning without a valid drug license.

The shop is owned by Hanan Rafeeqi S/o Javid Ahmed Rafeeqi, resident of Sopore, presently operating at SK Bagh. Accordingly, the said medical shop was sealed on the spot as per legal provisions.

Srinagar Police remains committed to taking strict action against illegal sale of medicines and urges the public to cooperate in the fight against drug abuse by reporting any such unlawful activities. (JKNS)
