A dedicated team comprising Army doctors, Nursing Assistants (NA) and Battalion First Aid Nursing Assistants (BFNA) conducted thorough health check-ups and provided essential medical care, medicines and health advice to patients.

The initiative aimed to address the healthcare needs of the remote population in Tangdhar and enhance awareness regarding preventive healthcare practices. Patients from nearby villages benefited from specialized consultations covering general medicine, minor ailments and routine health screenings.

The medical camp was organized in close coordination with the civil administration and staff of Government Hospital Tangdhar, ensuring smooth conduct and effective outreach.

Local residents expressed their gratitude towards the Indian Army for bringing quality healthcare services to their doorstep. The initiative not only strengthened civil-military relations but also reinforced the Army’s role as a partner in community development and well-being.

The Indian Army remains steadfast in its commitment to supporting the local populace through such humanitarian initiatives, especially in remote and border areas.(JKNS)
