The directive further states that narcotics-related cases must be properly recorded and reflected in official verification reports to ensure strict scrutiny at all levels of administrative and security clearance processes.

Police said the decision aims to curb the facilitation of drug offenders in sensitive appointments and documentation processes, thereby strengthening the overall anti-narcotics framework.

Reaffirming its commitment to the “War on Drugs,” Anantnag Police said such measures are necessary to dismantle drug networks and protect youth from the growing threat of substance abuse. (JKNS)
