Advocate Bilal Ahmad Rather, President of the Bar Association Beerwah, addressed the gathering and expressed his gratitude to fellow advocates for reposing trust in his leadership. He assured that he would discharge his responsibilities with dedication, integrity, and professionalism.

In his address, Advocate Rather highlighted the serious issue of inadequate judicial infrastructure in Beerwah. He stated that despite being an important sub-district, Beerwah continues to lack proper court facilities, causing immense hardship to lawyers, litigants, and the general public, thereby affecting the delivery of justice.

He called for the immediate construction of a modern and fully equipped court complex in Beerwah, emphasizing that robust infrastructure is essential for ensuring fair and timely justice.

He further stressed the urgent need for the establishment of an Additional District Judge Court in Beerwah in view of the growing population and increasing number of cases. He noted that litigants are currently compelled to travel long distances, resulting in financial burden and delays in justice.

Advocate Rather asserted that the Bar Association Beerwah will pursue these demands at all levels until they are fulfilled. He also urged the government and concerned authorities to take prompt action in the interest of justice and public welfare.

The General Secretary of the Bar Association Beerwah, Muneer-ul-Rehman, also took oath along with other office bearers, reaffirming their commitment to serve with honesty and professionalism, while Advocate Tariq Ahmad took oath as Treasurer.

Senior Advocate Ali Mohammad Magray, while speaking on the occasion, emphasized the importance of unity and collective efforts within the Bar Association for the betterment of the legal fraternity.

On the occasion, the Additional Special Mobile Magistrate, Munsiff Court Beerwah, extended congratulations to the newly elected President, executive body, and all members of the Bar Association. He appreciated the smooth and transparent conduct of the elections and commended the election body for organizing the process efficiently.

The Additional Special Mobile Magistrate, Mr. Tawfeeq Ahmad Mir, also distributed certificates to the newly elected office bearers. Advocate Bilal Ahmad Rather expressed his sincere gratitude to Mr. Mir for his gracious presence and for conducting the certificate distribution ceremony with dignity.

A large number of advocates were present, making the event a significant occasion for the legal community of Beerwah.

The ceremony concluded with a pledge by all members to work collectively towards strengthening the Bar Association, upholding the rule of law, and enhancing professional standards. (JKNS)
