During the interaction, participants were sensitized about the harmful effects of drug abuse and the need for collective societal efforts to eradicate the menace. Police officials highlighted the critical role of community support in identifying and curbing drug-related activities.

Emphasizing vigilance, police urged citizens, traders, and transport unions to remain proactive and report any suspicious activities. They assured that the identity of informants would be kept strictly confidential to ensure their safety.

Kulgam Police reiterated its firm commitment to making the district drug-free and appealed to the public for continued cooperation in achieving this goal. (JKNS)
