NIA ATTACHES 4 MORE TERROR-LINKED PROPERTIES IN KASHMIR IN CONTINUING CRACKDOWN ON TERRORIST NETWORK

Srinagar, Apr 24 (JKNS): The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday attached a property belonging to an accused involved in a terror-related case in Srinagar, officials said.

Official sources told news agency JKNS, the action was carried out by an NIA team headed by DySP, which attached 11.5 marlas of land situated at SK Bagh, Budgam under Survey No. 25, belonging to Tafazul Hussain Parimoo, resident of Sheikh-ul-Alam Colony, Nowgam, Srinagar.

Sources said the accused is presently in NIA custody in connection with FIR registered under various sections of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, Arms Act, and Explosive Substances Act.

The attachment proceedings were conducted in the presence of Naib Tehsildar B.K. Pora Ashiq Hussain and SHO Police Station Nowgam, Srinagar, following due legal procedure.

Further investigation in the case is underway. (JKNS)
