The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from parents, local residents, teachers, and students, reflecting a strong community commitment towards combating the menace of drugs. SDPO Pampore and SHO Pampore were present on the occasion and interacted with the participants.

During the session, the officers highlighted the ill effects of substance abuse on individuals, families, and society at large. They stressed the need for early awareness, parental guidance, and community vigilance to prevent youth from falling into addiction.

The role of educational institutions in shaping responsible and aware citizens was also underlined.

Participants were urged to act as ambassadors of change by spreading awareness in their respective areas and supporting law enforcement agencies in identifying and reporting drug related activities.

The programme concluded with a collective pledge to work together for a safer and drug free society. (JKNS)
