CRPF Launches Skill Drive in Srinagar, Empowers Women Through Tailoring Training Programme

Srinagar, Apr 18 (JKNS): In a step towards women empowerment and livelihood generation, 132 Battalion CRPF Sanatnagar under the aegis of Srinagar Sector on Saturday launched a one-month stitching and tailoring training programme for women and girls of Abi-Guzar, Lal Chowk area of Srinagar.

132Bn CRPF Sanatnagar, Srinagar under the aegis of Srinagar Sector is organizing One month Stitching/Tailoring training under Human Resource Development under Civic Action Programme in J&K Region for 15 Women/Girls of Abi-Guzar, Lalchowk, Srinagar aimed at promoting income and self-relevance among Women

The training programme was formally inaugurated at Masjid Ayesha hall on 18/04/2026 by Shri. W. R. Josuah, Commandant-132Bn CRPF in the presence of Officers and men of 132 Bn CRPF, President and members of Masjid Ayesha, Trainer/ Trainees and inhabitants of Abi-Guzar.

Mr. Amir Ashraf, President, Masjid Ayesha, Abi-Guzar expressed gratitude to 132 Bn CRPF for organizing the Stitching /Tailoring training at Abi-Guzar village. (JKNS)
