The order states that offices moving in camp will carry only 33 percent of their staff strength or a maximum of 10 officials, whichever is lower. The Jammu and Kashmir Road Transport Corporation (JKRTC) has been directed to arrange adequate buses on May 1 and 3, with advance ticket booking starting from April 20.

To ensure hassle-free travel, each convoy will be accompanied by support vehicles including a crane, standby buses, and mobile workshops. J&K Police will provide full escort to the convoys and ensure priority passage through key tunnels along the route.

Medical facilities will be established at various locations en route, including Jhajjar Kotli, Udhampur, Chenani, Ramban, Ramsu, Banihal, and Qazigund, with necessary directions issued to the concerned department.

The government has also directed that no employee shall occupy government or municipal accommodation without proper allotment. However, employees may retain allotted accommodation in Jammu for family use under prescribed conditions. Ration counters will be set up in Srinagar to facilitate essential supplies for move employees.

A uniform Special Move Travelling Allowance of Rs 25,000 has been sanctioned for eligible employees, while advance salary for April will be disbursed on April 29.

The order further states that leave during the move period will be granted only in exceptional cases, with three days of special casual leave permitted for Jammu-based employees opting for it.

The General Administration Department will establish the Summer Secretariat at Srinagar, while all departments have been directed to detach attached staff before April 27. Accommodation in Srinagar will be provided as per past practice.

Office timings after reopening in Srinagar will be from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM for Civil Secretariat and departments within its premises, and from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM for offices located outside, observing a six-day week. (JKNS)
