Kishtwar, Apr 13 (JKNS): The Sub Divisional Magistrate Chhatroo on Monday issued an order permitting movement of light motor vehicles on the Kishtwar–Sinthan Road via Sinthan Top from April 14, subject to fair weather conditions.

According to the order as per news agency JKNS, vehicular movement will be allowed daily between 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM and will be regulated on an alternate-day basis.

 

Officials said that on even dates of April, vehicles will be allowed to move from Kishtwar towards Sinthan/Kashmir side, while on odd dates, movement will be permitted from the Kashmir side towards Kishtwar.

 

Accordingly, on April 14, being an even date, light motor vehicles will ply from Kishtwar towards the Kashmir side.

 

The order further states that no vehicle will be allowed to cross Parna Check Post, Chingam beyond the specified timing under any circumstances, and strict enforcement has been directed by the authorities. — (JKNS)
