Parihaspora, Apr 6 (JKNS): 20th IRB organized a plantation drive as part of its continued commitment towards environmental conservation, community welfare, and promotion of greenery.

The initiative was carried out within the Armed Police Complex, Parihaspora, and its adjoining areas, where officers and personnel of the unit actively participated in planting deodar saplings. The drive aimed to enhance green cover, promote environmental awareness, and contribute to maintaining ecological balance in the region.

 

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from all ranks of the battalion, reflecting its dedication not only to maintaining law and order but also to serving society through sustainable and eco-friendly practices.

 

The Commanding Officer, 20th IRB, emphasized the importance of such initiatives in combating climate change and preserving natural resources for future generations. He also encouraged all personnel to take individual responsibility for nurturing and protecting the planted saplings.

 

The battalion reaffirmed its commitment to undertake similar initiatives in the future as part of its civic responsibility and ongoing support for environmental protection. (JKNS)
