Srinagar, Apr 4 (JKNS): A painter who had sustained critical injuries after falling from a height in Peer Bagh area of Budgam two days ago succumbed at a hospital on Saturday, officials said.
An official told news agency JKNS that the deceased has been identified as Bashir Ahmad Dhobi (45), a resident of Ichgam, Budgam.
He was admitted to SMHS Hospital Srinagar on April 2 after reportedly losing balance and falling while carrying out painting work at a residential house in Peer Bagh, resulting in multiple injuries.
Officials said his condition remained critical since admission and despite best efforts by doctors, he succumbed to his injuries on Saturday morning. (JKNS)
