Govt initiates measures to support farming activities across J&K: Minister Javid Dar

Jammu, Apr 4 (JKNS): Minister for Agriculture Production, Javid Ahmad Dar, on Saturday informed the House that the government has already taken various measures to support the farming activities across Jammu and Kashmir during the current season.

This was stated by the Minister while responding to the concerns raised by MLA Ghulam Ahmad Mir during the zero hour in the Legislative Assembly as per news agency JKNS, the Minister stated that the government has already asked all the stakeholder departments to ensure timely provision of fuel to farmers for carrying out their agriculture and horticulture activities.

 

He emphasized that necessary instructions have been conveyed to the concerned authorities so that farmers do not face any inconvenience during the ongoing agricultural operations.

 

The Minister assured that all possible steps are being taken to facilitate smooth farming activities and ensure adequate supply of fuel required for the agricultural and horticultural purposes. (JKNS)
