DSEK Constitutes Committee to Examine Land Donor Cases Under SRO-520

Srinagar, Apr 2 (JKNS): The Directorate of School Education Kashmir has constituted a divisional-level departmental committee to examine cases of individuals who have donated land to the Education Department and are seeking engagement or compensation under SRO-520 of 2017.

According to Order No. 125-DSEK of 2026 dated April 2 as per news agency JKNS, the committee will assess applications of land donors in accordance with the provisions of SRO-520 dated December 21, 2017.

 

As per the order, the committee comprises Joint Directors of School Education (Central/North/South), Additional Secretary Legal DSEK, Personnel Officer DSEK, Chief Accounts Officer DSEK, Deputy Director (E&S) DSEK as Member Secretary, and the concerned Chief Education Officer as member.

 

The order states that cases will be processed by the Planning Section and placed before the समिति for examination. After scrutiny, the मामलों will be forwarded to the Administrative Department for further action.

 

The move aims to streamline and ensure proper evaluation of claims submitted by land donors seeking benefits under the notified provisions. (JKNS)
