Waqf Chairperson paid obeisance at Bara Sadaat Shrine at Teilbal Srinagar on Annual Urs

Srinagar, Apr 1 (JKNS): Chairperson of Jammu & Kashmir Waqf Board and Minister of State, Dr Syed Darakhshan Andrabi visited Teilbal in Srinagar today and paid obeisance at the famous spiritual shrine of Bara Sadaat (RA) on the auspicious occasion of the Annual Urs.

The shrine witnessed huge public rush from yesterday. Waqf Board had put in place all necessary arrangements to facilitate the devotees. Dr Syed Darakhshan offered prayers for peace, harmony and continued progress, seeking blessings for the well-being of the people and the prosperity all.

Speaking on the occasion Waqf Chairperson said that the glory of our sufi centres signifies the glory of our spiritual quest. “Our spiritual centres are the beacons of harmony and sacredness. Waqf Board has committed itself to develop and facilitate all such spiritual centres throughout Jammu & Kashmir”, said Dr Andrabi.

Executive Engineer of the Board Qazi Mushtaq, Administrator Khursheed Ahmad Shah & Assistant Engineer Syed Murtaza accompanied Waqf Chairperson during the visit. (JKNS)
