The protest was held under the supervision of District President Shaheen Nawaz. A large number of NHM employees participated and raised concerns over delayed pay revision, lack of job security, and absence of adequate social welfare measures.

The protesting employees said they have been serving in the health sector for years but continue to face uncertainty regarding their employment status. They demanded immediate steps from the government to regularize their services and revise their salaries in line with their responsibilities.

The association also called for the implementation of social welfare schemes, including insurance and retirement benefits, to ensure financial security for employees and their families.

Speaking on the occasion, the district president urged the authorities to address the genuine concerns of NHM workers without further delay. He said the employees will continue peaceful protests if their demands are not met.

The protesters appealed to the administration to take a compassionate view and resolve the issues at the earliest. (JKNS)
