JKSCST Corporation organises awareness camp at Anantnag

Anantnag, Mar 30 (JKNS): JK Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes & Backward Classes Development Corporation Ltd., organised an awareness camp, at Town Hall, Achabal, Anantnag in collaboration with the National Minorities Development and Finance Corporation, New Delhi.

The event witnessed large participation from diverse communities, with significant presence of individuals belonging to minority categories. The primary aim of the event was to raise awareness about the self-employment schemes undertaken by the Corporation for monitories categories.

On the occasion officials of the Corporation, highlighted various low interest loans schemes offered by the Corporation. These Schemes aim to support marginalised sections of society, particularly those designed for Minorities. The Deputy General Manager stressed the Corporation’s commitment to empowering individuals. He urged the attendees to avail benefits of schemes and actively spreading awareness to ensure broader reach and impact.

District Manager, Anantnag corporation delivered a comprehensive presentation of the Corporation’s schemes for establishing income generating units with special emphasis on Education loan schemes. Beneficiaries covered under NMDFC schemes, who were present also on the occasion, recounted their experiences and encouraged participants to take advantage of schemes.

Information Brochures and Handbills were distributed among participants on the occasion. (JKNS)
