Sopore, Mar 27 (JKNS): In a major development affecting thousands of residents, the Public Health Engineering (PHE) Sub Division Watlab has announced suspension of water supply across Zaingair from March 28 due to pending dues amounting to ₹3.50 crore.

As per news agency JKNS, The Public Health Engineering (PHE) Sub Division Watlab announces that water supply will be stopped across Zaingair, effective March 28, 2026, due to an outstanding payment of ₹3.50 cr.

AEE Sub Division Watlab, Er Manzoor Ahmad Mir, urges consumers to clear their dues to restore the water supply, citing a total of 8000 legal consumers and 6000 illegal connections in the area.

Already issued notice before one month through social media regarding Water supply

Affected Areas, Watlab, Botingoo, Warpora, Janwara to Adipora. Hilly areas: Rampora Rajpora, Cherhaar, Marbal, Yamberzalwari. Hardushiva, Dangerpora, Duroo, Pazalpora, Mundji, Takiya Khan to Saidpora. Seloo, Nowpora, Shangergund to Mazbughh, Bohripora. Brath E Kalan, Gund brath, Nowpora Kalan, Chek Nowpora. (JKNS)
