Illegal Street Vending Curbs Imposed in Anantnag Town

Anantnag, Mar 23 (JKNS): Municipal Council Anantnag has issued an order imposing strict restrictions on illegal street vending across the town, particularly along major roads.

According to the order, issued following directions from the Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, as per news agency JKNS, enforcement teams including the Tax Inspector, Khilafwarzi Inspector and Demolition Squad have been directed to ensure that no street vendors install carts on main roads, especially along the stretch from Mehindi-Kadal to Janglatmandi.
The order further states that officials will maintain round-the-clock monitoring, and any lapse or negligence in enforcement will invite strict action under rules.
Authorities have directed all concerned to ensure strict compliance with the instructions to maintain smooth traffic flow and public order in the town. (JKNS)
