Sources told news agency JKNS that sleuths of the agency conducted coordinated raids at nearly a dozen places across the Kashmir Valley, including Handwara and Kulgam, as part of the ongoing investigation.

In Handwara, the NIA team searched the residence of a businessman in the Guloora area, where officials scrutinised documents and electronic devices during the operation.

Similar searches were also carried out at various locations in Kulgam district, sources said, adding that further details are awaited.

The raids are part of a wider probe into terror-related activities, with searches continuing at multiple sites, they said. (JKNS)
