According to the circular as per news agency JKNS, if Eid-ul-Fitr falls on March 20 (Friday) or March 22 (Sunday) instead of the scheduled March 21 (Saturday), the court and its registry will observe the holiday on the respective day as officially notified.

However, the circular clarified that the Registry of the Supreme Court will remain open on March 21 (Saturday), irrespective of any change in the holiday schedule.

The decision will be implemented based on the official gazetted holiday announcement made through electronic media and other platforms, subject to moon sighting. (JKNS)
