Four Injured After Sumo Vehicle Hits Poplar Tree in Tral

Srinagar, Mar 10 (JKNS): Four persons were injured after a Sumo vehicle hit a poplar tree at Drambal area of Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday, officials said.

An official told news agency JKNS, The injured include a 45-year-old resident of Mahchoo Tral, a 30-year-old resident of Kahlil Tral, and two others aged 19 and 18 years, both residents of Nagabal Tral, they said.

Officials said the injured were initially shifted to District Hospital Tral and later referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for specialised treatment. One among them is reported to be in critical condition, while the condition of the other three is stated to be stable.

All the injured are currently being evaluated in the surgical casualty ward at SMHS Hospital. While cognizance of the incident has been taken. (JKNS)
