Shopian, Mar 8 (JKNS): A 68-year-old man lost his life after being hit by an unidentified vehicle near a petrol pump in the Memander area of Shopian district on Sunday, officials said.

An official told news agency JKNS, the elderly man died on the spot due to the impact of the collision. The driver of the vehicle fled from the scene after the accident.
