Skill Development Programme Inaugurated by 43 Battalion CRPF in Budgam

Budgam, Feb 27 (JKNS): In a significant step towards community empowerment and sustainable livelihood generation, 43 Battalion CRPF inaugurated a series of six Skill Development Programmes under its Civic Action Programme at Chadoora in Budgam District.

The programmes are being implemented in collaboration with Wyath Services Private Limited, with a special focus on poor and needy youth of the district, particularly women.

The initiative reflects the continued commitment of the Central Reserve Police Force to strengthening community engagement and promoting social upliftment alongside its primary security mandate.
Under the initiative, local youth predominantly women will receive structured, practical and industry-oriented training in trades including Assistant Electrician, General Plumber, Mobile Phone Repair Technician, Web Developer, Refresher Training in Mushroom Cultivation, and Field Technician for Home Appliances.

The courses are aimed at enhancing employability, encouraging self-employment, and creating sustainable income opportunities.

The inauguration ceremony was presided over by Shri P.K. Singh, Second-In-Command, 43 Battalion CRPF, in the presence of Shri Chetram Burarak, Deputy Commandant, representatives of Wyath Services Private Limited, and trainees.

Addressing the gathering, Shri Singh appreciated the enthusiastic response from the youth and community members and reiterated that such humanitarian initiatives would continue to empower underprivileged sections and strengthen community bonds.

Representatives of Wyath Services Private Limited expressed gratitude to 43 Battalion CRPF for the opportunity and reaffirmed their commitment to delivering quality, market-aligned skill training.

The collaborative effort marks another milestone in fostering youth empowerment, community resilience, and inclusive development in Budgam district. (JKNS)
