In view of the magnitude of the blaze, additional reinforcements were rushed from Fire Station JVC Veer. The Fire & Emergency Services Headquarters also deployed water bowsers and foam tenders to strengthen containment efforts and prevent the fire from spreading to adjacent industrial units.

Firefighting teams are working tirelessly to douse the flames, and the situation is being closely monitored.

The operation is being carried out under the overall supervision of ADGP Fire & Emergency Services Alok Kumar, while Deputy Director F&ES Dr. Mir Aqib Hussain and Mobilising Officer Aijaz Ahmad Shah are overseeing on-ground efforts.

The cause of the fire and the exact extent of damage are yet to be ascertained. No reports of casualties have been received so far. (JKNS)
