J&K Govt Sets Up Round-the-Clock Helpline for Returnees from Iran

New Delhi, Feb 25 (JKNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Government has established a 24×7 helpline mechanism to facilitate residents of the Union Territory arriving from Iran, in view of the advisory issued by the Embassy of India in Tehran on February 23, 2026.

A circular issued by the J&K Resident Commission, New Delhi, as per news agency Jammu Kashmir News Service — JKNS, states that dedicated contact numbers have been put in place to ensure assistance, guidance and coordination for the returning residents.

The helpline services will operate round-the-clock to address any concerns and extend necessary support.

The designated contact numbers are “Hello J&K” at 7303620090 and Control Room numbers 011-24611108 and 011-24611210.

The circular, dated February 25, 2026, has also been shared with the Ministry of External Affairs, J&K Police and the J&K Bureau of Information, among other authorities, for wider circulation and effective implementation. (JKNS)
