Pulwama, Feb 24 (JKNS): The State Investigation Agency (SIA) on Tuesday carried out a search operation in Shirmal area of Zainapora in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district in connection with a 2023 UAPA case related to the killing of Sanjay Sharma.

Official sources told news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, that the raid was conducted at the residence of slain terrorist Jazim Farooq Wani in connection with FIR No. 14/2023 registered at Police Station Litter, Pulwama. The case involves offences under Sections 302 and 120-B of the IPC, Sections 7/27 of the Arms Act, and Sections 16, 20, 23 and 38 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
