During her visit, Nagi also went to a local madrasa where she interacted warmly with both boys and girls. She encouraged students to focus on education, creativity and personal growth, stressing that development in border areas must begin with learning and skill-building.

Addressing locals, she said her foundation aims to start skill centres in the region, including computer labs and sewing training units under a “learn and earn” model, with a special focus on women empowerment. She emphasized that education and vocational skills would remain the main pillars of sustainable development in Karnah Valley.

Highlighting the potential of the region, she also spoke about promoting border tourism and showcasing the natural beauty of Karnah Valley. She noted that early initiatives in tourism and skill development could significantly benefit the people of Karnah, especially youth and women.

The visit underscored her continued commitment to uplifting marginalized communities and promoting development through education and skills in far-flung border areas like Tangdhar in Kupwara district. Local residents expressed gratitude for her outreach and appreciated efforts to bring attention and support to people living along the Line of Control.
