Anantnag Police Conduct Market Inspections Ahead of Ramzan, Take Action Against Erring Traders

Anantnag, Feb 18 (JKNS): In view of the upcoming holy month of Ramzan, Anantnag Police, in coordination with Revenue authorities and the Food Safety Department, carried out extensive market checking drives across the district.

Joint teams inspected grocery shops, vegetable and fruit vendors, meat sellers, bakeries, and other retail outlets to ensure adherence to hygiene standards, proper display of rate lists, and prevention of overcharging or sale of substandard items.
