Zaingair Sports Association Honors Kudu Championship Winners

Srinagar, Feb 17 (JKNS): The Zaingair Sports Association (ZSA) organized a felicitation ceremony to honor athletes from Sopore and Zaingair who won gold, silver, and bronze medals in the Kudu Championship held in Jammu.

The event was held at Watlab and attended by ZSA President Irfan Dilawar Bhat, Secretary Nazir Ahmad, Spokesperson Javid Iqbal, Showkat Ahmad Ganie, and other members.

 

The athletes were recognized for their outstanding performance in the championship, bringing pride to Sopore and Zaingair. Civil society Sopore Chairman Aashiq Hussain Zaki praised ZSA’s efforts, stating they work for the betterment of sports in North Kashmir.

 

Parents of the medal winners also expressed gratitude for the recognition.

 

Dr. Ambreen highlighted ZSA’s contributions to promoting sports in the region. The athletes thanked ZSA for the honor.

 

The ceremony was also attended by executive members of ZSA, including M Syed Khan, Mohd Azhar, Tariq Wani, Gh Hassan War,Lateef Ahmad,and Nargis Firdous. (JKNS)
