The programme was conducted under the leadership of District President Rabia Wani and followed the recommendations of senior party leader Chowdary Mohd Ramzan. During the meetings, membership cards were distributed among party workers and local supporters as part of an ongoing drive aimed at reinforcing the party’s presence in the district.

On the occasion, key organisational appointments were also announced. The Block President and Halka President were formally appointed to further consolidate the party’s structure at the grassroots level and enhance coordination among workers.

Addressing the gatherings, Rabia Wani emphasised that the primary objective of the Women’s Wing extends beyond organisational expansion. She said the platform is committed to empowering women by ensuring they secure their rightful identity, voice and leadership space within society.

She highlighted that unity, collective effort and inclusive participation are essential for building stronger representation and fostering meaningful social and political change across Kupwara district.

The meetings witnessed enthusiastic participation from local women and party workers, reflecting growing engagement and commitment toward strengthening democratic values and community-based leadership in the region.(JKNS)
