Shopian, Feb 12 (JKNS): Tehsildar Shopian on Tuesday organised a Jamabandi reading and grievance redressal camp at Shadab Karewa to address revenue-related issues of local residents.
During the camp, land records were read out publicly to ensure transparency and accuracy, while grievances pertaining to mutations, demarcation, corrections in records, and other revenue matters were received and examined on the spot. Several issues were resolved immediately, and remaining cases were forwarded for timely follow-up.
The initiative aims to strengthen public trust, enhance transparency in revenue administration, and provide doorstep services to citizens. Local residents appreciated the effort and urged that such camps be organised regularly across the area.
Tehsildar was accompanied by Naib Tehsildar Shopian and other revenue staff. (JKNS)
