As per details available with news agency JKNS stated that, Members of the Shia community staged demonstrations at several locations including Chainabal Pattan in Baramulla, Imambara Zadibal and Harwan in Srinagar, and Inderkote–Sumbal and Diver Parihasipora in Bandipora. Protesters strongly condemned the attack, raising slogans such as “Pakistan Murdabad” and “Hukumat-e-Pakistan Murdabad,” reflecting widespread anger and outrage over the targeting of a religious minority.

The AJKSA Unit Chinabal (Pattan) specifically raised strong slogans condemning Pakistan for the brutal blast at Imambargah Khadijat-ul-Kubra, Tarlai, Islamabad, and demanded immediate action against those responsible.

In Bandipora’s Inderkoot area, a large group of Shia residents gathered to voice their condemnation of the mosque attack, emphasizing the need for justice for the victims and calling on the international community to take note of repeated attacks on Shia Muslims in Pakistan.

Eyewitnesses reported that the Islamabad attack involved a suicide bomber detonating explosives near the gates of the Shia mosque in the Tarlai area, following the sound of gunfire. The attack has been widely condemned across the region and internationally for targeting innocent worshippers.

In response, the Indian government expressed solidarity with the bereaved families and condemned the act of terror.

Ministry of External Affairs, (MEA) in a late night statement as per JKNS said, The bombing at an Islamabad mosque earlier today is condemnable and India condoles the loss of life it has caused. It is unfortunate that, instead of seriously addressing the problems plaguing its social fabric, Pakistan should choose to delude itself by blaming others for its home-grown ills. India rejects any and every such allegation, which is as baseless as it is pointless

The protests in Kashmir were peaceful but marked by strong anti-Pakistan sentiment, underscoring the region’s solidarity with the victims and the Shia community worldwide. (JKNS)
